Wintershall Dea held a media video call on Thursday 28 April 2022, 8.30 am CEST with CEO Mario Mehren and CFO Paul Smith. The call was moderated by Michael Sasse, SVP Corporate Communications.

The Russian President's war of aggression against Ukraine has shaken the foundations of Wintershall Dea’s work in Russia to the core. We have reacted: saying a clear 'no' to new projects in Russia, stopping payments into Russia, and writing off our Nord Stream 2 financing.

What comes after that? What does this mean for our business? How are we shaping our strategy?

Wintershalls Dea invited journalists to join a video call on 28 April 2022. In this call, Mario Mehren and Paul Smith addressed the war and Wintershall Dea’s reaction. They also spoke about future diversification of our portfolio and our contribution to the energy transition.

We also gave an overview on our current projects and Q1 2022 results.

Please note that the call was conducted in English only.

Q1 2022 results and supplementary information are available for download on our website as of 8.00 am CEST on 28 April 2022.
