Almost 50 years in the country, about 100 licences: Wintershall Dea is one of the leading gas and oil companies in Norway, one of Europe's most important energy suppliers.
Wintershall Dea operates 12 actively producing gas platforms on the Dutch Continental Shelf. All platforms are controlled remotely from the Central Control Room in Den Helder. This enables the company to increase its operational efficiency and effectiveness, and to produce economically even from the smaller fields in the Southern North Sea.
In Argentina, Wintershall Dea is a major supplier of energy and belongs to the country’s top five producers of natural gas. For more than four decades, offshore gas production in Tierra del Fuego has been a solid foothold for Argentina's energy supply.
