Acting responsibly and at the same time sustainably is extremely important to Wintershall Dea. Both are increasingly decisive factors for the future of any business and, in particular, for the E&P industry. In 2020, Wintershall Dea set itself clear and measurable targets to drive the energy transition – aiming to reduce the greenhouse gas emissions of its upstream activities to net zero at equity.
First steps have been taken: In 2020, Wintershall Dea continued to reduce its greenhouse gas intensity for Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions, which are now among the lowest in the industry. We are also pursuing ambitious goals when it comes to diversity, CSR and compliance. All activities, figures and background information are summarised in the Sustainability Report. But the Report doesn't just look back, it offers a clear vision with goals and plans for the future.
