Wintershall Dea reduces Management Board
Thilo Wieland is resigning as Member of the Management Board of Wintershall Dea AG responsible for Region Russia, Latin America and Transportation by mutual agreement with the Supervisory Board as of 30 June 2023. At the same time, this Board function will be dissolved.
In January 2023, Wintershall Dea announced its complete withdrawal from Russia. As a result of this, the board function will now be dissolved and the Management Board of Wintershall Dea AG will be reduced to four members.
“Thilo Wieland has made many important contributions to the company in more than 20 years and since 2015 as a member of the Management Board of Wintershall Dea. He has successfully implemented projects in his department in a challenging environment. On behalf of the entire company, I would like to thank him very much for his outstanding commitment and the excellent cooperation and wish him all the best for the future,” says Dr Hans-Ulrich Engel, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Wintershall Dea.
Thilo Wieland has held various positions in the Wintershall Group and the German-Russian joint venture WINGAS since 1999. He has been a member of the Management Board of Wintershall Dea since 2015.
